Nestled in South Bend, Indiana is the home of Value Tool & Engineering, Inc. (VTE), a company with a story deeply intertwined with the evolution of precision machining. Founded in 1997, VTE began its journey as a traditional tool and die shop, specializing in crafting high-quality tools and fixtures primarily for the aerospace industry. Our focus on precision and quality quickly established us as a trusted partner within this demanding field.

Over time, VTE recognized the changing needs of our growing base of customers and expanded our capabilities beyond tool and die making. Production machining capabilities were added, allowing us to not only design and build aircraft ground support test equipment and related tools, but also manufacture the precision parts themselves. Recognizing the growing importance of electronics in aircraft, aviation and aerospace applications, VTE further diversified by establishing an electronics department. This comprehensive approach, encompassing design, manufacturing, and electronic integration, solidified VTE’s position as a one-stop shop for our clients in the aerospace and aviation sectors.
